Design and consultancy

Don’t put your budget (and nerves) at risk by using electricians who are unfamiliar with the specific requirements of educational establishments. The earlier you involve Smart Living in your planning process, the more value we can add to your project.

New facilities:
We have lots of experience working in new build projects and we know what to look out for in order to avoid pitfalls, unnecessary delays and cost-overruns. We can design systems that serve you well now and retain flexibility to adapt to new technologies in the future.

Re-purposing of existing facilities
Education moves so quickly that there’s a frequent need to refresh what you’ve already got in order to absorb something new. We’re currently working with several schools and colleges to introduce Smart Board technology, with the concomitant need for cabling, sockets & wireless functionality.

CAD

We are skilled CAD designers, able to provide documentation that will mesh with your architect/project manager plans.

Communication and best practice

We work with senior management and administrative staff to ensure that you have the level of reporting you need, at the right time. We make sure that we are available for meetings and committees as required. And of course our invoicing is transparent and matched to our detailed quotes procedure.
